AESRC Sanction Request Form

From the Bylaws

Section 7. The AESRC shall conduct an open and youth “Sweepstakes Series” which will begin on January 1 and end on December 31 of each year.  Sweepstakes points shall be awarded to exhibitors who are current members of the AESRC at the time of the show and points computed as follows:

A. Sweepstakes points for AESRC Sanctioned All Breed and Specialty Shows: 
  1. Class points will be awarded as follows:
    1. 1st place will be awarded 6x the number of rabbits in the class
    2. 2nd place will be awarded 4x the number of rabbits in the class
    3. 3rd place will be awarded 3x the number of rabbits in the class
    4. 4th place will be awarded 2x the number of rabbits in the class
    5. 5th place will be awarded 1x the number of rabbits in the class
  2. Best of Breed and Best Opposite Sex of Breed Bonus Points will be awarded as follows:
  1. Two additional points times the total number of English Spots shown will be awarded to the Best of Breed rabbit
  2. One additional point times the total number of English Spots shown will be awarded to the Best Opposite Sex of Breed rabbit
  1. All Breed Best in Show winners will receive 20 bonus points
  2. All Breed Reserve in Show winners will receive 10 bonus points 
  3. If a youth shows in open, those points are only to be counted in youth if youth was not sanctioned or if there was not a youth show.  If youth was sanctioned, the points go in open.
  4. Points will be calculated by exhibitor as they appear on the show reports.  Example: John Smith and Jane Doe enter rabbits together as John Smith & Jane Doe, points for that entry will go under John Smith & Jane Doe.  If John Smith enters a rabbit by himself, those points will just be for John Smith, not combine with John Smith & Jane Doe’s points.

B. National All English and ARBA Convention:
  1. Class points will be awarded as follows:
  1. 1st place will be awarded 12x the number of rabbits in the class
  2. 2nd place will be awarded 10x the number of rabbits in the class
  3. 3rd place will be awarded 8x the number of rabbits in the class
  4. 4th place will be awarded 7x the number of rabbits in the class
  5. 5th place will be awarded 6x the number of rabbits in the class
  6. 6th place will be awarded 5x the number of rabbits in the class
  7. 7th place will be awarded 4x the number of rabbits in the class
  8. 8th place will be awarded 3x the number of rabbits in the class
  9. 9th place will be awarded 2x the number of rabbits in the class
  10. 10th place will be awarded 1x the number of rabbits in the class
  11. Two additional points times the total number of English Spots shown will be awarded to the Best of Breed rabbit
  12. One additional point times the total number of English Spots shown will be awarded to the Best Opposite Sex of Breed rabbit
  13. ARBA Convention Best in Show winners will receive 200 bonus points
  14. ARBA Convention Group winners will receive 100 bonus points 
2. All members exhibiting at the National All English or the ARBA Convention will be awarded 100 bonus points.
3. Points will be calculated by exhibitor as they appear on the show reports.  Example: John Smith and Jane Doe enter rabbits together as John Smith & Jane Doe, points for that entry will go under John Smith & Jane Doe.  If John Smith enters a rabbit by himself, those points will just be for John Smith, not combine with John Smith & Jane Doe’s points.

C. “Top Spot” 
  1. The “Top Spot” Contest will run from January 1 to December 31 each year
  2. There will be an open and a youth competition
  3. Points will be awarded only if the requirements for a leg are met (3 exhibitors showing 5 rabbits)
  1. Two points will be awarded to each rabbit that wins Best of Breed
  2. One point will be awarded to each rabbit that wins Best Opposite Sex of Breed
  1. The rabbit, open and youth, with the most points at the end of the year will be awarded the “Top Spot” award to be given during the annual Sweepstakes award presentation.
